Questions before you order

About two weeks for a machine we hold as stock, about four weeks for one built to your candle. Sea freight is on top of that and depends on the port — a few days to Manila or Ho Chi Minh City, six to eight weeks door to door for West Africa. We tell you both numbers separately in the quotation rather than one figure that hides the shipping.

First, the candle machines themselves take no electricity at all — they are hand-operated, with no motor and no wiring. What has to match your supply is the melting tanks, the wick waxer, the drilling machine and the powder equipment. Those have to be built for it — it is not a switch. Tell us the voltage, the frequency and whether the supply is single or three phase, and the motors and heating elements are specified to match. The Philippines is 230 V / 60 Hz where China is 380 V / 50 Hz, so a motor wound for one runs 20% fast on the other; Nigeria usually means 230 V plus a generator, so we also give you the generator rating the equipment needs. Site voltage is a required field on every quotation that includes wax melting equipment.

For most of Asia, 30% deposit by bank transfer and 70% against a copy of the bill of lading. For West and East Africa, payment in full before production, or through a trade platform that holds the funds. We do not sell on credit, and the deposit is not refundable once the machine is on the floor — which is why we would rather talk the specification through properly first.

That is the normal case, not a special request. Candle diameter, height, shape and the number of moulds per cycle are all set when the machine is built. Send a sample candle, a drawing, or just a photograph with a ruler beside it, and tell us how many you need per day — the mould count follows from that, not the other way round.

For a full line, an engineer travelling to your factory is a priced option in the quotation. For a single machine it is video commissioning: we film the machine running before it ships, then walk your technician through setup on a call. Where we have a technician in your country we will introduce them. Ask before you order — engineer availability, not the workshop, is what limits how many installations a month we can attend.

A basic spares kit ships inside the crate with every machine — the parts that wear rather than the parts that break. After that, send a photograph of the part and we ship a replacement; small parts go by courier. The wear items are deliberately ordinary industrial components, so a local workshop can often make or source them faster than we can post them.

Fifteen years and more. The reason is what the machine does not have: it is hand-operated, so there is no motor, no heating element and no control board — nothing that ages on its own whether you run it or not. What it does have is a welded steel frame and seamless stainless mould tubes, and both outlast the business decisions made around them. What wears are ordinary parts, which is the answer above. That is service life, not warranty — different things; ask us for the warranty terms.

Yes, and you should. Every machine is filmed running under load before it is crated, and that video is sent to you — with your candle in it where you have sent us a sample. You are also welcome at the factory; tell us when and we will have the machine on the floor. Four of our machines can also be taken apart and run step by step in your browser, from the 3D page.

FOB or CIF, plus written guidance on clearing the machine at your end. We do not quote DDP: it would mean us guessing your country's duty and pricing that guess into the machine, and the guess is always expensive. Full detail is on the delivery page.

No. One machine is an order. Most first orders are one moulding machine and a melting tank, because a moulding machine with no reliable way to melt wax into it is a machine that waits.
